I bought my On running shoe just the day before the competition. I tried the shoes for 20 seconds only. Enough for me to take the quick decision to run the Ironman Marathon in the Ons. Stupid everybody would say! – But it was my best decision I could take. The shoes felt very comfortable on the entire 42.2km of the run. No blisters and good for my joints and muscles. This running shoe is the best I have ever had. This shoe will make a lot of runners very happy!

I did not even notice I was running so nicely..then I started thinking that I have not been running all summer and I am already here and NOTHING hurts. The kenyan top runners of the run2gether team are happy to present their new outfit for 2010/11. On is very proud to support the very fast runners with the On running shoe and the new dresses. The next important event for the team will be the half marathon in Kärnten 22nd August 2010. We already now wish all the athletes good luck and fast legs. Run on clouds!

Several On athletes competed last weekend at Ironman Switzerland, among them Gerrit Schellens (Belgium), who put down a blasting 2.42 marathon, carrying him to 5th place in the Pro division. On’s Simone Benz (picture) stayed in 2nd position for most of the race to finish a good 4th in her first ever Ironman as a pro.

After months of waiting, the On has now arrived at selected retailers in Switzerland, and the rest of Europe will follow in a couple of days. The first ever On – however – was purchased in Innsbruck, Austria at renowned running shop Rückenwind.

Finally, here’s the answer to your most frequently asked question: The On will be available after June 25, 2010 in the following countries: Austria, Australia, Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland (more to follow). You will get your On’s at specialist running retailers, triathlon shops and premium sports stores.
In early June, www.on-running.com will feature a store locator. If there’s no store near you or you live outside these countries, you can get your pair in our webstore.

Running legend Tegla Loroupe has selected On as her running shoe of choice. Few runners are more experienced than Tegla Loroupe, the former marathon world record holder from Kenya, so Tegla’s decision for the On makes us especially proud!
