COVID-19 has developed into a global pandemic. Our priority is to keep the On community safe, healthy and – wherever possible – active and running.

 

Putting People first

Most of our teams in Europe and North America have been working from home since March 6. We have closed our offices in these regions and our On shop in Portland. As athletes, we’re used to adapting to challenges. Let’s come together, act responsibly and flatten the curve.

 

The On team in China have already been working remotely for several weeks. Things are slowly returning to normal at our office in Shanghai and our stores in the city are opening again. This should give us hope.

Our online shop remains open and we’ve introduced extra measures to help our customers. You can currently test out any On shoes or gear in your home workouts for 30 days commitment-free. If, by the time the 30 days are up, you’re not convinced, you can send the products back for a full refund, no questions asked. 

 

In addition, we’re also waiving all standard shipping costs and are doing all we can to get your orders to you as quickly as possible.

New Ways to Work at Our Warehouses

We’re constantly talking to our logistics partners to make sure the teams in our warehouses are able to work safely and responsibly. Additional strict hygiene processes have been put in place and the work is only being done by core teams at each site – no guests allowed. The teams are doing a great job at getting orders out on time, but in these unique circumstances delays can happen and we ask for your understanding and patience. 

 

At the same time, there are some warehouse sites that have needed to close as a precaution. This is to protect the staff and their communities and we support the teams in following local guidance.

Without our retail partners, On would not be where we are today. We are doing all we can to help them through this tough time.  For our retailers whose stores are closed, or whose supply chain is down, we’re creating pop-up online stores on our website. Through a unique link for each retailer, customers can shop using the official On webshop and any purchases will support their local store.

We are conscious that an increasing number of our community aren’t able to go outside to run as they would like. With our Athletes Adapt initiative, we’ll be bringing you inspiration for indoor training, from live workout videos to advice from pro athletes. It’s our goal to help you adapt your routine so that, when the time comes, you can make the most of a renewed appreciation for the outdoors. 

 

Escaping into nature has never felt more natural. Where recommendations from the authorities allow, running or hiking outdoors remains a safe way to help you to stay mentally and physically healthy.

 

Focusing on What Truly Matters

It’s during difficult times like these that the things we value most take on even more significance. Health, community and being able to move freely and explore. Difficult times also spark human ingenuity and innovation. Despite all the challenges that this pandemic brings, it is also causing us to re-evaluate what truly matters.
