The Grip-Rubber profile of the Cloudventure performs in the most demanding conditions. Its sole is micro-engineered with four distinct levels of grip, so you’re in control on the trail, and the street.
The Cloudventure family is built with an ingenious 2-layer upper. It combines a highly comfortable and supportive inner layer with a breathable, light outer layer that is also treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating.
Every aspect of the Cloudventure has been engineered with the ultimate trail running shoes in mind – right down to the toe-caps. Fused with rubber and engineered mesh, it provides protection for the toes while still remaining lightweight and flexible.
Runners looking for a lightweight trail shoe with full cushioning protection.

“No other trail shoe has the capability to make you feel comfortable, free and confident to tackle what “Mother Nature” throws at you” - Ben Allen, XTERRA world champion
“Growing up in the Swiss Alps, we learned a thing or two about running in the mountains, which is why the Cloudventure offers so many innovative features for trail running” - Olivier Bernhard, On Co-Founder and six-time Ironman Champion.
Light and fast that you can reach the peak in time to watch the sunrise. Reliable grip for when a thunderstorm catches you by surprise. And clever cushioning to save your legs when you are flying back down to reach the valley before it gets dark. The Cloudventure.
Love my CV's
I did quite a lot of off road and trail training prior to running the Sierre Zinal trail race in the Swiss alps.. In training the shoes were great and did feel like running on clouds including on road..Unfortunately the shoes did not hold up on the tough terrain, and lost my footing on 3 occasions. I will use the CV for training and maybe for a less difficult train in the uk.
I am not a professional hiker or super-marathons but you might say a very ambitious one that does participate. I am the one that gets the medal for finishing sometimes but not the one that stands on the podium. The shoe is fantastic, it gives plenty of room for the toes and great cushion for the foot (so very critical as you cant pick other shoes 5000 ft above camp) this is first important . Second importance (this juggles with first in fact lets just say equally important) is the excellent design of the tread! For being such a new company, it seams you have designers that really know how to design for the trail and technical courses. Whats missing is a rock plate. Actually its great that you did not embed one in permanently because why add weight when you don't have too? I think its good to leave as an option. But other trail shoes that have shoes for technical courses will usually have a fitted rock plate that comes with it. Just of little concern is only after about 88 km the midsoles on both shoes are showing signs of being worn. Very honestly I hope these shoes are a 800km pair of shoes because they are marketed and sold as a high end shoe like some of the high end solomon shoes.
