I did the same as the youtube movie about is describing. I got my shoes on Friday an then used them for a marathon on Sunday (without even running a kilometer in them). I didn't get any blisters or any other foot problems.
It truly is a great shoe!
Ran with these for the first time today and very happy with the feel, Very supportive compared to my clouds and so much lighter than my winter cloudventures. Looking forward to running a half marathon in Madrid next month,
I've been struggling with fit with the other mainstream brands so thought I'd give these CloudFlows a try.
Out of the box I was sceptical as to look at the shoe looks very narrow yet when on and running width wasn't a problem at all. It may be in the lining material/construction but despite looking narrower they actually run much wider than other shoes/brands that I have tried.
After walking for 5-10 metres I was again sceptical. There was a very squishy feeling underfoot as weight transferred across the clouds. But as above, once running, this was gone, replaced with comfort and effortless speed.
The marketing material about people using a brand new pair for a marathon was interesting, and nearly true for me. My own experience was 2x 3mile runs and then into half marathon race. By the end of the race I'd gotten a small hot spot under my big toe but generally no issues and I'm sure this wouldn't have been an issue if I'd had them for a bit longer beforehand. I managed to set a PB in the race and think the new shoes were a major contributor to this!
Oh, and they look fantastic.
I'm now thinking about a pair of CloudRacers for shorter events and triathlons!
