The Cloudsurfer brings together what normal running shoes don't: the soft landing of a training shoe with the dynamic kick of a rapid competitive shoe. Making the Cloudsurfer the ideal companion for traning and racing. “The adaptive sole balances every pace and truly trains the running muscles,” explains Olivier Bernhard, the multiple Ironman champion and co-founder of On. “The Cloudsurfer really does encourage its wearer to adopt a more efficient running style and greater body stability.”
“The On is the fastest running shoe I have ever tried. Its 3D cushioning turns long runs into short ones. It’s light, comfortable and fast” says the marathon legend and UN ambassador for Sports and Peace, Tegla Loroupe. With world records in 20, 25 and 30 kilometres as well as winner of marathons such as New York, Berlin, Rotterdam and London, Tegla is one of the most inspiring persons in the world of running.
After having a frayed meniscus procedure about eight years ago, I've tried to focus on shoes that help w/ prevent injury and are well cushioned. The "Cloudsurfer" is really comfortable, light weight, a performance shoe and, most importantly for me, it seems to assist w/ preventing injuries.
I'm ordering my second pair today and I want to make sure that I rotate and replace the shoes on a regular basis, as prescribed by my doctor. Congrats to "Cloudsurder" on creating a wonderful product and I wish you continued success down the road :-).
I have run in many different shoes over the years but these are my favourite by far. Very light and a great fit. I did find they fit a little long and I ended up needed a half size smaller than usual. I have only run in them a half dozen times but have had no issues at all with break in.
To start off, I am 30 years old, 6'3" tall, 245 lbs, size 14 to 15 shoe, very low arches. I've been in the Army for the past 12 years and I have tried every shoe out there. I have had the wrong shoes give me plantar fasciitis and other brands would have a great shoe, and then it would just disappear. So I was recommended to try these by a fellow soldier and just wow. They feel like a sock, run like my minimalist shoes, AND I have stability support. I feel great running in these shoes and look forward to buying my second pair!
