I walk to and from my job every day on various terrains, roads, sidewalks, dirt roads & grassy fields.
The round trip is a little over 6 miles.
I was in search for a shoe that is not only very comfortable, but can also hold up to the wear and tear of daily 3 mile walks twice a day.
I had never heard of On brand shoes before.
I did a Google search of "comfortable running shoes with shock absorption" & On Cloudsurfers was on the list of search results.
I did a little research on On brand shoes and was confident from reading articles, reviews and watching YouTube videos that they were a high quality shoe.
They were on the expensive side and I normally don't like paying more than $80 U.S. dollars for a pair of shoes.
So I was very hesitant to purchase them. But after doing a little more research I started to believe that they were the right type of shoes I needed. I also grew tired of buying more affordable shoes, only to have them come apart after 1-3 months of use.
I received my Cloudsurfers in the mail 3-4 days after ordering them. After I unboxed them I was impressed by all the little details that the shoe possesses. They also looked like no other shoe I've seen before. The materials look different than most shoes, and the construction of the shoe looked very well built and tough looking for such a lightweight shoe.
After walking in them for 30 seconds i could tell they were the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn.
Walking to work or back normally takes an hour and 10 min. to an hour and 20 min.
But with my Cloudsurfers "On" I arrived home after only an hour, cutting 10-15 min. off my commute time.
They seem to make your stride more efficient. And the shoes have a bouncy or springy feeling that makes you want to push off with your toes and walk or run faster.
Another detail I noticed is that my feet weren't the least bit sore after walking long distances with my Cloudsurfers.
I'm sold on "On". And they will be the only brand of athletic or running shoe I'll ever purchase again because they're that comfortable.
