Thanks to its patented CloudTec® system, the 13 “Clouds” close and lock for a natural transition for a faster take-off. It all adds up to you spending more time in the air. And even if you are not focused on speed, time will fly by faster with the Cloudsurfer at your feet.
The Cloudsurfer brings together what normal running shoes don't: the soft landing of a training shoe with the dynamic kick of a rapid competitive shoe. Making the Cloudsurfer the ideal companion for traning and racing. “The adaptive sole balances every pace and truly trains the running muscles,” explains Olivier Bernhard, the multiple Ironman champion and co-founder of On. “The Cloudsurfer really does encourage its wearer to adopt a more efficient running style and greater body stability.”
“The On is the fastest running shoe I have ever tried. Its 3D cushioning turns long runs into short ones. It’s light, comfortable and fast” says the marathon legend and UN ambassador for Sports and Peace, Tegla Loroupe. With world records in 20, 25 and 30 kilometres as well as winner of marathons such as New York, Berlin, Rotterdam and London, Tegla is one of the most inspiring persons in the world of running.
After years of testing many kind of shoes i buy this one. Up to now i spend 150+ with my Cloudflow and no issues. On any underground the shoe dosn't lost the grip and stay flexibel. The Problem, the pain in the sole of my foot doesn't exist any more.
Good job ON, love this shoes!
I fall into the category of a 'broken' athlete, who used to be fast but due to injury and chronic issues, has fallen off the competetive scale for running in amy comdition of aports or speed. A torn Achilles in one leg, knee surgery on the other, and neither leg is competitive.
Needless to say, no shoe helped, and i just blamed it on me getting old and broken - and then I found these shoes!
Where were they five years ago?!?!?! :)
I ran 3 miles after buying them and felt amazig - something that would have put me out for 48hrs due to Achilles and knee pain. But i was amazed, because not only did NOTHING hurt, but the mext morning (maybe 18hrs later) I went for another run, 5 miles!
And I still feel great!!
No pain, no soreness, nothig to complain about at all other than I didmt discover these sooner!
Thanks for inventig a phenomenal shoe. Im a fan for life.
Cloudsurfer were my first ever On Running shoe and I love them. They are the most comfortable and confidence inspiring shoe I've ever used. They feel light and fit perfectly and felt great to run in, from the first time I went out in them. By far my favourite shoes to go out and run in, whatever the distance, whatever the effort level.
I've also had no issues with injuries while using them and they helped me to a half marathon PB too!
My only criticism is that, for me and my running technique, the Clouds wore through much quicker than I expected on the outside of one foot and I wasn't able to get the mileage I'd expected. However, it's not put me off another pair of Ons and I'll be looking for a slightly more hardwearing pair next time.
