Cloud Edge Speaker Series: NYC

Disruption of space is what has made On the fastest growing running brand on the planet. With a premium Swiss design and high-performance technology, On has become a favorite not just among some of the world’s best athletes, but with masters taking their craft to the edge. On wants to support this philosophy by creating a space that inspires creators who push the limits of innovation. Come learn from a few of our favorites who inspire us and the world around them. Enjoy light food and drinks to start the evening. RSVP before spots sell out!

April 16th: Heather Day & Julian Carr
April 17th: Tiny Heirloom & David Litt
April 18th: Andrew Hinton & Rich Roll

Check-in opens at 5pm, speakers start at 6:30pm each night.

About the Speakers:

Heather Day is a San Francisco-based artist. Day’s art is a form of visual storytelling interested in conveying moments of interactions. She works primarily with paint and non-traditional materials, and is known for her murals. The philosophy that everything is a product of an experience frames each work, conveying stories of movement and ideas of color through seams, lines, and layers.

Widely recognized for the biggest airs in skiing, Julian Carr has quite literally taken it to the edge with two world records in cliff height. Carr has developed a reputation not only for big airs, but for all around skiing and for founding Discrete Clothing and a mountain running series called the Cirque Series.

As the tiny home building company behind DIY Network's "Tiny Luxury," Tiny Heirloom creates high-end custom houses on wheels in the Pacific Northwest. Striving to take a creative and fairly new tiny home platform and make it exceptional in all fronts, spurred the Tiny Heirloom team to come up with a way people can take ownership of the simple yet complex thought that “less is more".

From presidential speechwriter to the current head writer for Funny or Die's DC office, David Litt has already led a somewhat unconventional career path. Joining the White House at the age of only 24, Litt became the president's primary joke writer. His new best-selling memoir, That Hopey, Changey Thing, follows the life of a twenty-something in the Obama White House.

Inspired to travel to India by a bank manager using his position to bring about social change, the documentarian Andrew Hinton kept returning to find stories and people who inspired him. He spent 18 days living on a train to document the Jagriti Yatra and met a paperboy in Jamshedpur who he followed for a day, creating a short film which won the 2012 Vimeo Documentary Award. Hinton is currently filming a documentary about Ironman Tim Don's journey back to racing after he was hit by a truck in October 2017.

Rich Roll is a vegan ultra-endurance athlete and former entertainment attorney turned full-time wellness & plant-based nutrition advocate. Not only has Roll taken his craft to the edge, but as the host of the widely popular podcast, The Rich Roll Podcast, Rich interviews others who take it to the edge as well.
