No longer feel like I am wearing boat anchors
I've been running off and on for many years, but recently started training for my first marathon. I have always worn the same shoe because they felt good, a gel-type cushioning with high stability. But as my long runs started hitting 30km+ they felt so heavy. I thought there must be something better and that's when I read about On.
When I went to my local store they didn't want to sell them to me because I was in a high stability shoe. We tried a bunch of other brands on first and one or two of them were OK. The staff then talked it through and said the Cloudsurfer was the closest they had to a stability shoe (which was true for the styles they carried). I tried it on and fell in love. They were so incredibly light. I had the staff check my gait with them several times to make sure it wasn't just in my head. I bought the shoes and have done several runs in them now, including my longest run ever- a 40k. All the runs have felt great, and I just ordered a pair of Cloudflyers for my long runs. Can't wait to try them! I spoke so highly of them that my wife tried a pair of Cloudflows and has a pair now too!
