I purchased a pair as my current running shoes were giving me calf problems. I debated between these and a pair of Hokas. I went for the cloudflyers as they were similar to what I am used to and so glad I did. I went for a 5 mile run to test them out and no calf niggles at all. I also felt I had a lot more pace in my stride.
I have been running for over 10 years and tried most brands of running shoe to find that perfect one. I have now found it! The Cloudflyer is perfect for me in every way I can train & race in these shoes I no longer have issues with blisters or sore feet after long runs. I go into races with so much more confidence now. Great show I can't recommend enough.
I've just hit 200 miles in my Cloudflyers and I still absolutely love them. These are my first pair of Ons and previously I had run 300 miles in a pair of Adidas Supernovas with no issue so was unsure whether to change. I definitely made the right decision to switch as again, I have had no issues and I still remember feeling the difference in weight when I took them out of my first run. They are so light it almost feels like you are running barefoot.
They don't look like they will be very grippy from the pictures but I've had no issues running on roads, compacted trails and the odd off road diversion (Canal towpaths/farmers fields etc). I've run everything from 5k to half marathon distance in them and can't fault them.
The only thing I would change is the price but when I come to replace my current Cloudflyers, I doubt i'll choose anything else.
