I confess that I tend to buy any old tops, jackets, shorts etc. for running - I'm not a brand freak and I just want my clothing to be comfortable and fit for purpose. But I was so fascinated by the practical design of these, that I splashed out on a pair. I don't regret it and it's worth it as I wear them a lot: for running, tennis and hiking in cooler weather. I'm 62, so ordinary pants sometimes put a strain on my knees when hiking uphill, but these pants are great as the mesh yields. I also tend to get really hot while exercising and love the fact that no part of the pants really heats up too much, yet they're also very cosy for hiking in frosty conditions! The waterproof front is ideal as I hate having wet knees. Congratulations to the team who designed these. If all sports technology clothing was like this, it wouldn't just promise a lot, it would actually work. It's also amusing, as people can't figure out what on earth I'm wearing as they've never seen pants like this before!
